Here's something you probably wouldn't expect from someone who owns a bookish shop...

I didn't grow up a reader. Like, AT ALL. I was the girl who thought the movie was always better. I KNOW. 

But then life happened.

In 2018, I moved to the U.S. to finally be with my husband after two years of long distance. Sounds like a Disney movie, right?

Well, nobody warned me about the part where migration grief hits and you miss your family, friends, career, and... EVERYTHING

I felt lost. And while I waited for my work permit, I had SO much free time that Instagram literally told me I was "All Caught Up."

Yes. That actually happened. 

Then one random night, I downloaded The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren.

And OMG, I was HOOKED!!

For the first time in months, I laughed out loud. I finished the book in one sitting, immediately needed another, and before I knew it, I was staying up until 3 AM getting emotionally destroyed by fictional characters.

But here's the thing. Books gave me more than something to do. They gave me something to look forward to when everything else felt uncertain. Somewhere between the laughter, tears, and questionable sleep schedules, I started feeling like myself again.

And now? Books are basically my entire personality. Sorry, not sorry. 

And That's How Apt 305 Studio Came to Life!

I created Apt 305 Studio to make being a reader even MORE fun.

From cute bookish goodies to Blind Date With a Book experiences (because obviously we need more fictional men in our lives), everything here is made for readers who love books a little too much.

You know, the girls who say "just one more chapter" at midnight, get ridiculously attached to fictional characters, and keep buying books despite their never-ending TBR.

Because around here, reading isn't something you have to justify. It's something worth celebrating.
